Collection of Personal Information
We collect personal information from you when you use our letter analysis service. The personal information we collect may include your name, address, email address, and other contact information. We may also collect information about your use of our service, such as the letters you submit for analysis.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information to provide you with our letter analysis service. Specifically, we use your information to:
- Perform character recognition on the document and attempt to anonymise sensitive personal data (Steuernummer, VAT number, tax ID, Name, Address) using a service delivered by Klippa NV, a company located in the Netherlands and operating under the GPDR guidelines.
- Create a summary of the letter using GPT 3.5, delivered by OpenAI a company located in the US and operating under the California privacy rights.
- Deliver the summary to you.
We may also use your personal information for our internal business purposes, such as data analysis, research, and improving our service.
We use best efforts to prevent sensitive personal data from being sent to GPT 3.5. It may happen that, in some cases, sensitive personal data is shared with this service. In doubt, we encourage you to manually anonymise your document (e.g. place maskers) before uploading the document to the service.

We may disclose your personal information to our service providers, including Klippa NV and OpenAI, who assist us in providing our letter analysis service. We require our service providers to use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was provided and to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information.
We may also disclose your personal information if required by law or if we believe that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
Security of Personal Information
We take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
